Warehouse Pizza

Enoki was approached to turn a warehouse factory shed into a youthful and playful pizza house. The factory shed was attached to the kitchen of an existing restaurant. Enoki conceived a raw 'semi-finished' space with strong graphic elements to attract a young market. Out of a long list of names 2 were chosen to develop into potential brands for the new pizza house. House of Vizza, a place to find quality pizza; and Thunderbox, it is taste thunder in a box. Pictured above are early concepts for both potential brands. The concepts for the environmental graphics were based around dripping paint and pealing wall paper - a reclaimed space made new.

Stilt and Hip

The Stilt and Hip Table in white birch were concepted for a collection of Danish Chairs – namely the Hans Wagner ‘wishbone chair’.

The Stilt Table with its 4 corner legs set in from the edge allows the beveled top to float over the sides. The cross member allowing for structural stability and subtle detailing, further enhances the disconnection of the top from its frame as the two do not meet. This gives the table a fragile, lightweight appearance which is counterbalanced by the four simple yet column like legs, ensuring strength and longevity.

The Hip Table intends to portray Danish craftsmanship through simple components, simple forms and timber moulding. The two end components made of three connecting pieces are simple in styling and softly curved to hug the roll moulded table top. Hip is void of any hard edges, with the three main components the top and two sides meeting to produce a seamless and homogenous table experience.

Ivy Chandelier - happily ever after

In a misty Winter's morning the Ivy Chandelier moves on by. Completely handcrafted, knotted and woven, carved and felted; Ivy falls in still motion and unlanding from the ornamental ceiling rose upon the working bench at The Adelaide Flower House.
