The Haus Hahndorf

A highway swings into the Adelaide Hills to Hahndorf and on a shady tree main road there stands The Haus. It is a picture book inside; foretold stories of Hahndorf's beginnings are illustrated by Judd Crush. The pages of history on the walls reveal more each time you look and the Cumulus pendants designed by Vi Nguyen sit in the air like travelling speech bubbles of wisdom.

Custom made furniture carved from Reclaimed 19th Century Asian Elmwood, heritage stone walls, bentwood furniture classics by German-Austrian cabinet maker, Michael Thonet and its all about a time and place in Hahndorf. We enjoy many long lunches in the private dining room. This is something nice and we love it!

Home Beautiful Feature

July issue of Home Beautiful Magazine is currently on the local newstand. Pull up the winter warmers, mug up the hot chocolate and fold over its pages; the Cumulus pendant is inside. While the Cumulus pendant has been busy travelling to LA and Sydney, the office is building its family of table and floor lamps. We look forward to sharing the new arrivals with you soon.

Discarded Icons and Illustrations

These icons and illustrations were developed for Wendy's and are unused. The brief was to depict the product but not in an obvious/realistic way. By simplifying forms to be basic representations of actual products striking symbols were created for their whole product range. As an extension to that, illustrations were developed for use on large surfaces.
