Back to school - Week 3

This weeks sessions with the room 9 kids at Glen Osmond Primary was all about environments. The class was divided into groups based on the characters they developed in week 2, and then together began to work on the background for the mural.

Each water tank will have a separate environment in which the characters will live: the city, the forest/countryside and the suburbs. Each group brainstormed what should be found in each environment then we drew up a basic map based on these for the kids to draw in their characters.

Farewell Feast!

Susanna and Judd treated the entire Enoki team + friends and family to an amazing farewell feast extravaganza over the weekend to send Alex and Lisa off on their overseas trips.

Back to school - Week 1 & 2

Our graphics team at Enoki, Judd and Lisa have gone back to school! In a collaboration with Glen Osmond Primary School and together with the room 9 teacher Haley, they are running a class that aims to being the arts together with some lessons on the environment to create a fun mural project whilst learning to be environmentally aware.

Week one was about introducing the class to the project and working together as a group to create a character who cares for the environment in some way. The outcome was 'The Funky Rider' who was decked out in a recycled wooden helmet, a garbage can to collect rubbish and funnels to catch rainwater to water plants with.

Before our week 2 visit the class spent some time creating their own  characters, each with their own unique environment-saving skills - and we have to say, these are a creative bunch of kids!

The team at Enoki were recently featured in The Design Atlas, a UK Design Council Publication focusing on strategic innovation through design. Due to our growing family we thought we should have some new studio shots taken for the occasion. We invited the talented Bri Hammond in for a visit and these are some of the beautiful shots that eventuated. Our favourite is the group shot of the entire enoki family; Judd, Susanna, Danielle, Alex, Leigh and Lisa, and Susanna and Judd's daughters Ivy and Wynter. You can see some of Bri's other work at
