North Adelaide Residence 2

Here’s a little sneak peek into a residence completed late last year by the Enoki interior team, in conjunction with Butcher Brown Architects. Pictured is a sample of stage one works. The internal spaces are filled with warmth and an element of luxury, through the layering of materials, textures and an array of furniture and fittings. Enoki was engaged to design a number of custom items, including a solid Walnut desk with inlaid leather, beautifully crafted by Gareth Brown. Refined detail was key throughout the building works, producing a highly polished result. Photography by Simon Vaughan.

Alex represents Enoki at the CEFPI conference 2014

Just over a week ago, 520 delegates made their way from across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States, to Adelaide Oval for the annual CEFPI conference. CEFPI, Council of Educational Facility Planners International, is an organisation focused purely on educational facilities and in particular the relationship between designers, planners and educators. Alex participated as a delegate, as well as being a member of the Mayfield Project SA Chapter. The Mayfield Project is a research program for Young Professionals, coordinated through CEFPI Australasia. This year the SA Chapter focused on learning environments and how they affect/aid learning. These spaces are a crucial part of everyone’s lives and how these environments will develop in the coming decades will only be for the better.
