The Cumulus has been causing a bit of a stir on Instagram recently, appearing in some beautiful shots of The Cross Street Project by C+M Studio. The project is a newly renovated Sydney apartment, not only for sale with or without all the furniture in it, but it is also a completely shoppable space. To find out more check out the Cross Street Project website or for more info on the Cumulus head to the Enoki website.
Here are a few snaps from our photoshoot last week at the new Adelaide East Education Centre with our lovely photographer Simon Vaughn from Evolved Images. The project included the branding, signage and environmental graphics for the new school for children with disabilities. The lively shapes and colours have a great positive and fun effect on the space and act as way finding for the different classrooms down the central corridor.
Introducing Capsule Projects! A team comprising 3 progressive companies with a successful history of creative collaborations on various commercial projects. The four directors, Susanna Bilardo and Judd Crush from Enoki, Patrick Caroscio from Design Think and Anthony Giordano from Giordano & Associates, decided it was time to create an 'official' joint venture and Capsule Projects was born. The exciting opportunity arose for the new collective earlier this year to tender for the new Adelaide Channel Nine office and studio fitout and Capsule Projects were successful. The high profile project at 169 Currie Street, the former Adelaide Bank building, will consist of 3 levels of work spaces for the 100 plus staff and news spaces, including a glass fronted studio at street level that enables passers-by to view production from the street. Enoki are very excited to be a part of this new addition to Adelaide as part of the Capsule Projects team! Bring on 2015!
A few months ago we posted the story of Dirptado, a quirky and interactive mascot designed by Enoki to represent the client's company's core values. He has now gone on to win Silver in the Communications category at the 2014 DIA Awards this past weekend! We are very proud of the little guy! We'd also like to make a big shout out to our friend Patrick Caroscio from Design Think for winning gold for his project Frame Church Conversion!
Next time your in town, take a stroll down Rundle Place and check out the new Boutique chocolate shop, Just Bliss Chocolates. Not only are their chocolates divine, but you may spot a touch of Enoki in the new space. 3 Cumulus Nude pendants float above the counter, finished in a very fitting chocolatey walnut stain. Shout out to Sam Agostino for selecting the lights to compliment her beautiful fit out and owner Gulcay Bateman for the lovely feedback and images.
Flick through the pages of the latest Fete magazine and you will find a beautiful spread of products including the Enoki Cumulus pendant in a custom grey fabric. Fete sourced the talented stylist Megan Morton to shoot a story on Spring makeovers and the end result are the lovely images found on page 80. Megan ran the shoot as a styling workshop for The School, where aspiring creatives could experience a day in the life of a magazine shoot. Read more about the day in Fete and check the Enoki website for more information on the Cumulus.
